Installed a MST V2 Intake and Maxton v1 front lip (which was absolute hell, reaching behind the front bumper to get those nuts on the bolts was extremely annoying), but the fitment is good and the intake sounds amazing.

I used 3 oem bolts in the middle and 2 maxton bolts. When I do my oil change I plan to drill holes near the side and add a bolt on each side of the lip. I didn't bother with the other bolts.

Yeah I went through the pain of putting all 9 in along with 3m tape to seal it completely, guess I wont have to worry about it falling off at least

I couldn't help myself. Smoked a "Stage 2" RS5... I don't know what that means. I also had a BMW X5 M that figured he would crush me. He would have destroyed me if my car was stock. But nah. Both on Map 1 (630whp / 580wtq).

I've also noticed that my car no longer farts when shifting under load. This pleases me greatly. I don't know if it's from Botti's tune or the new turbo set up. But I'm kind of glad it's gone.

I’m very curious to know what eliminated the farts? I really hate that the car does that.

Added the roof vortex thingy. Not sure if I like it yet or not...

Swapped out my Supra script for solid black. Didn't dig the chrome edge on the stock badge. Also, it supposedly adds +15hp.

I did the same, kinda. Went the cheap route and just sprayed it with plasti-dip. Also did the edges of the GR badge. Looks so much better without the chrome. Cleaned up my exhaust tips while waiting for everything to dry.

I take it these turbos don't have any issues with warping of the hot side?
Its actually less warpy if a heated metal is insulated and cooled slowly. It's rapid heating and cooling that warps and crack metal.

insulating is used in a lot of industrial welding to keep it from cooling too fast and developing issues.

I'm sure there is someone on here that's a metallurgist that can science it for us
