Damn, must not be related to embargo then..was hoping it was..guess we’ll see what happens this week. What’s off however is at least one person has taken delivery of their 2023…
Way more than one person has taken delivery of a 2023 AT — multiple Stratosphere blue 3.0 AT's have hit the internet/Reddit/Instagram, which makes it all the more odd.

I have to wonder about the long term gains the limited editions will have. They're mechanically identical to the Premium. Look at ads that say "1 of 6 in this color combo" and the price is a few grand higher, but not significant. The M3/M4 CS has lost a lot of value and that was a 1200 car run and is truly unique.
That said, I'm trying for a CU Later. But I won't pay too much over msrp.

The things that are "special" about it are basically all cosmetic. Its two-tone tan interior is already going to be a turn-off to many, and the exterior colors are not exclusive to the A91-MT in foreign markets.

I'm after a CU Later A91-MT as well, but to expect any kind of significant divergence from 2023 3.0 Premium MT long-term value trends is a crapshoot.

Surely you jest.
Not at all. Personally, I'm a fan. However, there are definitely those out there that would prefer an A90 instead for a non-tan interior and/or wider array of exterior color choice.

Shit, i'd love to be someone who preferred standard A90 color options; I sure as hell don't give a single fuck about red strut tower braces or a red rear badge and would much rather save $3K for what is the same exact car outside of cosmetic differences.

Many #23's and #52's in different Jerseys with multi talents. Some already in talks to become the next HOF but.
Only one Michael Jordan, Only one Ray Lewis, and only one A91. No excuse, No replacement, and no substitute. For this, people are willing to pay $30K+, just to own the title "A91"

Tan seats, yellow seats, pink seats.. Bring it on, I will still get A91 over the rest if I can afford it and avoid paying the crazy mark-up. No excuse and no substitute.

It's just marketing mate. The "A91" is pretty much just our "GTS" model here in Australia. ?‍♂

Maybe I was a little obtuse but what I was getting at was that the A91 “Special Edition” moniker is just marketing hype and hardly worth the mark ups mentioned. ?‍♂

Blame the corporates who are driving the current inflation rate off the roof to make everything more desirable at a higher, yet at the greatest cost.

Chipping in with some info. Been watching closely, I am sure many of us are in a very similar situation. Just waiting for an allocation to get a vin. My sales guy detailed the allocation/distribution process in the US for me. In the last allocation round, 5 A91s are coming in, seems like the 5 guys mentioned with a VIN in the first post are those ones, but who really knows. Just need to wait for the next round of allocations.

There are two other dealers in DMV who called me and confirmed that they have an allocation. They both were built(Both dealers receiving CUL Grey) on the same date as mine and its on the same vessel to NY Port as I post this.
I declined the offer from both dealers because one asked $7000 Mark-Up and other dealers asked $10K, and later bumped it up to $30K Mark-Up.

So there are lot more than what you see on here. So with mine, that's already three A91-MTs in DMV only, out of 500, plus 4 others on the first post who has confirmed.

At this rate and mathematically speaking, I will not be surprised all 500 Units already been built and dealers are just waiting to receive their allocation so they can jack it up as high as they can.

I believe that. There is Toyota owned distribution centers (like in North East) and independent owned distribution centers (TX, FL for example). Could only be seeing what is allocated to the specific distribution center vs all of US. Like you said in the last line, dealers just waiting for an allocation.

I have a VIN/vSpec sheet for my allocation (CUL Gey) and I'm slightly worried that they might bump the markup. They seem to be a very reasonable dealer but who knows what dealers will do in this market.

Just brace yourself for some crazy markup if you haven't secured your A91 at either MSRP or reasonable MarkUp.
A friend of mine is getting Burnout A91 with $15K markup from a dealer in northern Maryland, Westminster to be exact.
Oh and here is something new,... the dealer will not take any trade-ins for their A91. :what:
