Going to be powder coating my stock wheels soon and since they have to dismount tires to do so I am going to upgrade the OEM tires. Im between one of two setups and need some help deciding if anyone has run them or has any input. Car is just used as a fun street car on my free time and eventually will get properly tuned.

Continental extreme contact sport 295/35/19 rear 265/35/19 front or Nitto NT555rii 305/35/19 rear and NTg2 265/35/19 front.

I know 305 aren't recommended for 10 in wide wheels typically but nitto runs narrow compared to other tire brands so they should make full contact and fit properly I presume. Pricing for both sets is relatively the same not going with Michelin as I don't love run flats. Any input would be appreciated!

Don’t have any experience with the Nittos, but I had the Conti ExtremeContact Sports on my STi (275 square) and they were the best tires I’ve ever ran. Will be putting them on the Supra when these PSSs finally wear out.

My old C7 Z06/Z07 came factory with 335 width cup 2 tires. I hated them personally way to aggressive for the street IMO great for track tho! The PS4S i swapped them with were wayyyyyy better for the street i just don’t want run flats tho again so that why I’m leaning towards conti or nitto for the Supra

I have the Conti's on the rear 295/35/19. Drastic improvement over stock and a great everyday street tire but you are still going to spin through 2nd gear. If you want to hook, go with the Nitto's

That’s what i was thinking. I just wanna make sure the Nitto’s fit properly at 305 width even tho they run narrow.

Too sticky, or wore too fast?

I have PS4S as the summer tire on my daily car and they are great.

Both too sticky and wore too fast they look like they are bald when new!!! and I had to sweep the garage once per week with how many rocks and crap the tires picked up and brought inside

Just throwing the Falken Azenis RT660s into the mix as well, they're probably somewhere in between the Continentals and Nittos, they grab very well and you can get them in 265/35 and 295/35 for the stock wheels.
