See some of the posts above me, I believe it controls the exhaust valve. Not sure because I personally don't use a JB4

High guys. What is this “holding down BC button” I was curious so I tried it with power on and engine running, it does nothing.

It stands for Boarder Control. You press it when coming back from Mexico to pass through any inspections.
