Using more than one single bolt would be a step in the right direction.

Dunno? I don't do hill climbs. But for SCCA TT Max2 no one has said anything.

I am still going to get one- at some point... probably go weld in semi custom.

Interesting. So whichever events you're running are allowing safety level 1, which honestly is a huge surprise to me for TT. I've always known the SCCA to be the most safety-focused organization at the weekend warrior levels with no possible deviation from the rules in regards to required safety gear. But good for you! ?

a lot of the SCCA TT classifications are stock and near stock. I believe they want more participation and installing a cage is a BIG commitment and expense for most people

Yes. But a lot of removing interior and welding different metals
