Yeah.. Without any connections the wait will be 2-3 years and/or insane markup. A friend has a 5 over deal with the stipulation you have to trade in a C8. Lots of angles..

And your going to need those "connections" and "angles" to get one within the next year or two!

I'm assuming that the first few years of allocations of Z06s will be going to Dealership owners and their close friends along with those closely tied to GM...Unless your a very large Vette dealership like MacMulkin, Ciocca, Criswell, etc, which already have huge 2~3 year waitlists, the rest of the smaller Dealerships will be lucky to see more than 3~5 Z06 allocations for the entire year alone, which as I mentioned earlier, are probably going directly to the owners and close friends of theirs...

Update:

Finally got my allocation and order was accepted this past Friday and I expect to have my C8 delivered by Christmas...MacMulkin has been great to work with...Purchasing at MSRP, price-protected from '23 price increases (saved $3200), and no doc fees...I have a courtesy delivery dealership already setup which is located close to my home....

WGAF? Shit happens and GM took care of the owner summarily. That and associated 'articles' have been bouncing around social media for weeks, and only serves as fodder for sociapaths that shit on everything but their own preferences such as yourself.

Finally received my new '23 C8 this past mid Dec...Very pleased....

Sorry but I hate the wheels...can be 1 lb if it wants but from the moment I saw C8 online and in person, I hate that wheel, it's color, outline color, and lip spoiler and the exhaust tips.. something's off with tips size or style.. Z06 is better but still the wing, the vents.. something's still off..
Black tips are surely better. Nothing against your choices Tadda. My personal gripe with C8.
Back end is ?.
More power to those who like it..
I mean everything else is great. so I'd look the other way if I was to buy it and look for aftermarket solutions ?

I enjoyed both the Supra and C8 but for very different reasons which would be like comparing apples to oranges!

I find the C8, appearance wise, definitely gives off more of a super car / exotic vibe ...

Sorry but I hate the wheels...

No worries, I'm not offended, as I know things like this are highly subjective and biased in the same way I wouldn't ask for opinions about the Supra I owned on our Corvette forum...Ha!

That said, I'm not a great fan of the stock wheels either and I do intend on upgrading them soon....I didn't like the Supra OE wheels any better though...Too many nicer aftermarket wheels to choose from!
