Sweet looking but a little too similar to the Z06. I fully expect to see 100k markups

Maybe the Z06 will go back to MSRP at dealers & no markup?!?

Some of us here remember when the GR Supra was first introduced back in 2019 how some kid in California a few weeks later totaled their Supra and both her and the passenger died....The graphic images were all over social media...Very sad...

It's pretty much the same with every new sports car introduced especially amongst immature inexperienced kids...

Play stupid games...Win stupid prizes...

That said, I think the C8 ZR1 is definitely too much sports car for the average person to handle!

Stock car with really good single laps comparing to other stock cars. That’s awesome!

Curious how she’d hold up at a full day of tracking. Not being a dick, but really would want to know. I know the Z06 (with the track pack) can go all day at HPDE events and competing. And is gawd awful fast. As much so as a Porsche or anything else out there. But who knows how true that is for the ZR1. You’d think the ZR1 would get overheated with that kind of HP doing longer stints. Regardless, that won’t stop people from buying them or trying to do just that. Can’t wait to see how she holds up!!

Some reputable GM folks have had quite a bit to say about the potential repairs (level or work required) of the C8 ZR-1. This isn't off....based on what has been communicated on various social media outlets by the GM engineers, the ZR-1 has almost every component crammed underneath every inch of the skin of the vehicle.

Don't get me wrong, its a badass car....I just hope it doesn't turn into a Ferrari-level maintenance car.

I've heard the Z06 has the same issues
Two buddies I know have them and track all the time w/out issues. One friend was driving with me all day yesterday, until we‘d run out of gas. No problemo. Other than occasional driver error ? I had that problem as well. And we’re starting to see a lot more of the Z06s on track. Which is usually a good predictor.
