So given how well the steering wheel raffle went, and I had a great time talking to a lot of you as you entered! I think we should make this an ongoing thing! So drop suggestions in the comments below on what you would want as the next giveaways, Heard some people say an AA catted dp, maybe some verus goodies, Can do one of those fancy cap kits! For the more expensive stuff like an AA catted would prob do $20-$25 an entry, for something cheaper like the verus cap kit maybe $5 a spot. I'll do another steering wheel in a couple of months probably as well! And since I don't like posting threads without photos, here is a photo of an R129 SL I'm looking to snag up! love these old merc's

maybe next time limit the number of participants?
Not saying the 10$ raffle was bad,but it started with like 20 and at the end was almost 100 people in the raffle.

I see that you do not know how these things work.

Thats the whole point to a raffle. You don't do one to break barely even, you do one to potentially maximize profit..

10$ x 50 PEOPLE. Im sure he got the investment back with only 50.
So. "I want to increase my odds because I lost at the expense of the organizer making a profit at his own business." Got it.

I've seen raffles done both ways. Both have their perks. Limiting players say item is worth $500. But run the raffle for $700 then that's guaranteed $200 profit while keeping the odds better for everyone. Mentally it just feels better when odds are a bit better and people keep returning to play. But if you're playing with exponential amount of people the fun slowly wears away.

Just giving my 2 cents and why I usually don't do these. I jumped on this one since he said he was hoping for 20 people at 10 a pop, that's 200 buck and he was doing this at a loss. BUT i truly believe he didn't think it was going to be that popular. I didn't care if 20 signed up or 100. Its just 10$ and no big deal for me. When i stop "playing" is when i see guys doing these and its 25, 50, 100 to enter they are making huge profit, it takes forever to get anyone all signed up (btw I'm not knocking them making a huge profit, its business do your thing :)) I just don't get involved when its XXXX turbo kit and I'm looking for 100 people at 100$ a slot takes 3-4-5 weeks to set up. BUT keep these fun and small entry prices I'm down to keep joining in here and there.

Also, eventually someone is going to get ass hurt they keep losing and report it. I don't know all the legalities of raffles, but I do see most people say waffles just to get around it. maybe forums are different, but I know a lot of people on different forums always stop doing them abruptly for whatever reasons.

When i had my ST a group member put in 100$ every single time they did a big turbo raffle at 25$ a slot, he was soooo pissed i won doing it the first time with 1 slot to fuck with him he reported the dude. There is always that one guy out there that can't handle losing/gambling.

I thought the odds were always 50/50? /s ?

Seriously though I’d be down for the AA DP.
