If they had a smaller profile then I would consider them vs spending on other aftermarket non-functional vent replacements. Not sure if you were poking fun at them by posting in here. But keep in mind, these aren't far off from the little things you've clued to the side of your car....just saying
hehe Verus dive plane kit is more functional than rexspeed vent replacement :)) but its close tho

Bold statement. Some OEM parts are nothing but stickers themselves. No screws, bolts or rivets hold the side reflectors IIRC.
Your argument is that the side reflectors (functional light reflector required by our government) isn’t rice because it’s sticky on the back…

Ok

Uh, what?

The statement, for which I quoted, said "any" sticker was rice. "Any", like all or none, is an absolute. Arguing absolutes is almost always wrong, thus I thought I'd have some fun with it. The OEM side reflectors are in fact stickers but they are held on only by an adhesive. Thus the statement "any" sticker would include the OEM side reflectors. Thus the statement is rather bold in that it's an absolute and that absolute contains at lest one OEM part. Leading one to believe that it isn't "any" sticker but a particular subset of sticker.

Unpacking this opens up interesting distinctions. How about a sticker for a number on track car? Is that rice? How about a spoiler that's held on by a sticker? Let's get political, are pro Trump or Coexist stickers rice (maybe those you don't agree with but the ones you do are cool?). Similar argument regarding religion and other hot button topics. Ones you don't agree with rice but ones you do are cool or are they all rice? How about the baby on board sign hanging on by a suction cup (sort of a sticker) -- those are kind of rice right. But you ever drive a new born home with a mom recovering from c-section and you just hope the $5 sticker might convince some kid to chill out?

"Any sticker" is a bold statement.

Ok
I have my mechanic‘s shop small sticker on the tiny back side window. Just outta respect. But hear ya on the stickers… I put a big fat Maxxis (tires) sticker on my rear window and it felt like a giant tramp stamp. To me at least, so I ripped that puppy off…. My wife liked it though, so go figure ?

Haha fr about the tramp stamp. My local car group urges everyone to have a sticker of the group name but I got it in black so you can hardly see it.

The local shop you got is cool. Nothing wrong with showing support to companies that helped out with the car
