(2nd video) The reviewer dropped it into 2nd right before the right turn and some how didnt spin out of the bank while flooring it.

Must be running some fat tires. Solid rear Axle with Torsen LSD?

I’m actually feeling better about it now. The estimated specs is exactly what I have been saying all along and I am sure the u.s. version will be in the high 300’s as far as horsepower is concerned. I really like the fact a lot of them said it’s a pretty smooth ride and not punishing like I thought it would be. Things are actually looking up as far as i’m Concerned. Fix the breaks, get us a nice interior and i’ll Consider it again.

The whole shape makes me think of MX-5.

The interior might look like it came from BMW but looking at the small trim pieces here and there along with the leather peace between the steering wheel and gauge cluster is very Toyota (86/Tundra/LS/LX/LC, and pretty much every Toyota I drove). It is definitely Toyota influenced.

I thought the aggresive design of FT-1 made the nose acceptable. In this pre-production model it is killing it.
If I would have the money I would let someone build the body according to the 'Topspeed' render.

With the mix on weight from different reviewers, if the supra did indeed come with 1350kg (as suggested by another post), Im buying.

Dude.... almost everyone including Toyota is saying 3,300-3,400lbs range. Let’s use that as the weight for now, if it ends up being less then great. Read the articles very carefully, the info is there.

Not sure how credible it is, but one of the reviewers in the videos claims Toyota said it's under 1500kg.

3,300 translates to 1,500 kg. This was in the autoblog review.
