Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it.
For sure. I didn't react at the dealership because I knew the risks if they were to do that safety recall, so when they told me they had done it I was just like, "ohh ok, well thanks".

Took my car in for an oil change appointment at the Toyota dealership. I told them specifically that I would be waiting at the dealership for the oil change to be completed. Three hours later the service advisor came to me to let me know that the reason it took so long was because they decided to do the brake system safety recall and they chose to do that because they FORGOT that I was waiting in the waiting room.... smh. Now my car is back to stock power levels and the ECU is locked and HOLY hell did I forget how "slow" this car is in stock form compared to an E-blend tune.

Now I get to figure out when I have the time to drive 5 hours to Monroe NC and pay some money to get the ECU unlocked again. At first I was upset about the entire situation but now I'm kind of like ehhh.... whatever lol.
So, did they tell you your warranty was voided because of the unlock? If not then tell them to leave it alone.

They won't listen because they've been taught that your car isn't actually your property and you as an owner are too stupid to really know what you want.

Many other companies have similar philosophies including John Deere, Apple, IBM, GM, etc.

Fitted some BMW M style paddle shifters I bought on eBay. WAY nicer to use than OEM and at $70 and 15 minutes of my time, one of the cheapest and easiest upgrades I have done yet...

15 minutes is pretty impressive, you should go for a world record.

I’m light years behind you guys, but today it was finally warm enough (and not raining) to whack on my first CF bit!
Small things please small minds! ?

Oh, and thanks to @Jesse DaBears for sending me these and a couple other bits to the UK ! Definitely works out cheaper for these parts than sourcing here! ?
