@Shelby Miles I noticed your stable has both my cross shoppers. I went with a Supra simply because a deal popped up. I never even got a chance to drive a GT350. Which do you like better?

100%! I've had a MK5 (6MT) and this MK7 (DSG) across 11 years. I wouldn't have gotten rid of it if I wasn't certain about my decision. GTIs are the best car at its price point and punches above it's class in many areas.

My wife loves the Supra so much, though, that she'd rather switch back to the old setup than get rid of the "toy" car, if circumstances require it ?

Fitted some BMW M style paddle shifters I bought on eBay. WAY nicer to use than OEM and at $70 and 15 minutes of my time, one of the cheapest and easiest upgrades I have done yet...

The Spoiler & Paint Match Toyota Emblem looks good. The good thing is that we make changes on our cars for how we like and not for others. I actually think the Supra Emblem looks pretty legit and a perfect upgrade font from the MK4 and wouldn't remove it except to put a blacked out one to get rid of the chrome but thats my personal preference. When I had my BRZ I didn't care for the chrome BRZ emblem and debaged it completely.

Took my car in for an oil change appointment at the Toyota dealership. I told them specifically that I would be waiting at the dealership for the oil change to be completed. Three hours later the service advisor came to me to let me know that the reason it took so long was because they decided to do the brake system safety recall and they chose to do that because they FORGOT that I was waiting in the waiting room.... smh. Now my car is back to stock power levels and the ECU is locked and HOLY hell did I forget how "slow" this car is in stock form compared to an E-blend tune.

Now I get to figure out when I have the time to drive 5 hours to Monroe NC and pay some money to get the ECU unlocked again. At first I was upset about the entire situation but now I'm kind of like ehhh.... whatever lol.

GTIs are the best car at its price point and punches above it's class in many areas.

You clearly haven't owned a Type R. We had a DSG MK5 GTI and an FN2 Type R (Not available in the US) and while mildly utilitarian, I found the GTI was so boring it put me to sleep! The Type R had equal utility but was far more entertaining to drive. YMMV of course.
