Latest news from my dealer. Car is stuck at port still on ship. Apparently there’s a huge backlog of ships waiting. Scheduled to be unloaded on the 31st. Expected at dealer on 18 April. Ready for handover near the end of April.

Couldn’t believe it. I was beside myself! I think that makes it the fifth time the date has been pushed back on me. Fingers crossed it’s the last time.

1 month to go. Let’s go!

My stealer talked about this being an issue for them too. Apparently the docks are shocking at the moment. Hope your car comes in sooner rather than later!

In other news, I left a message for any news on my order.. waiting to hear back. Ugh.

Have you been given a status, or any updates? Even I'm starting to get pissed at your dealer on your behalf...

My car has enjoyed its stop over in Freo, now on the way to Melbourne...

Hahaha.. I do a semi-monthly check-in. Waiting on a response for this month, which usually means I need to reach out again which I'll do either today or tomorrow. ?

Update from stealer: "No news." Ugh.

The issue at the docks is a lack of staff to do the quarantine inspections. I downloaded the official inspection procedure and it's not too onerous but could be time consuming if you find even one leaf in the vents or a single plant seed stuck to the sticky backed plastic protective stuff they apply.

Wow getting closer guys, seems to be one thing after another atm though doesnt it.
I still dont know how the hell I have mine already tbh!
Got the windows tinted on the weekend and got the resonator swapped out for straight piping yesterday which the exhaust guys said was a better option than a new muffler. Not sure I noticed any diff to be honest but only drove home so far, will do a longer drive this weekend.
Hang in there, its getting closer for some of you.

I don't think so directly. It's more about the volume of new cars entering the country in waves after supply issues over the last 3 years due to Covid from what I can gather.
Knowing how stuff works they probably sacked all the staff during Covid and are now short staffed.

Glad y’all are over the Covid thing at least. I met a really cool Australian racer that’s has a home over here and tracking for fun. He was saying it was really tough to visit his mom. Great to see you guys back on track!
