Applied a matte screen protector. I just hate fingerprints and reflections.
Do you have a link to the one you purchased? If you're happy with it I'd rather try that instead of something random on Amazon. Thanks.

Noticed two cracks in my windshield on my way to work. Not Again 😭 I’ll definitely consider UV tint this go round/ replacement for extra protection 🤷🏼‍♂️
That freaking sucks.
So the insurance here in FL, you get 1 windshield replacement per year “$0” out of pocket. However, I recently learned that it will count as a claim and the premium will go up.

The windshield film is not a bad idea, specially if you track often.

Took advantage of my free track day! This was my first time on a race track and it was great!

I realized that this car is way faster than I’ll ever be, and that I absolutely suck at picking out the racing line 😂
That’s so badass you did it!!!! Seat time is the best mod ever 😍

maaaaajor fun, itching to go back lol.
this weekend was loaded with money: full of higher trim Porsches, C8s, usual racecar Miatas and whatnot
If you went with Chin = most experience bunch of track peeps. It’s not just high end cars, those dudes actually know how to drive = fast as 💩 💨

I’m with NASA today at Sebring. The weather look great, lots of awesome car nuts like us, gonna be a blast!!

I have seen so many windshields cracking on this site. When I had my tint and PPF done I splurged on windshield tint too. Does that make mine less prone to cracking or are you guys talking about an exterior film? I just had the film installed on the inside. I did get the highest quality ceramic tint supposedly blocks 99% of uv rays

Today I was looking at CF engine covers where this one seems to be a bargain compared to other ones out there (even stuff on ebay):

https://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/product/garage-whifbitz-carbon-engine-cover-gr-supra-a90/

Am I right that this seems very cheap? (The Eventuri one is £600 from the same site) Is there something I am missing that is making this one so cheap?

Or is it just a matter of this is the going price for one not from a top maker?

You get what you pay for.

A Ferrari and a Kia both have an engine and 4 wheels. Doesnt mean they are the same.

The Eventuri is 3K carbon fiber, I have it personally and wanted it for the quality and the fact it removed the OEM badge location indent. (Also because I wanted to keep the finish quality high I opted for the Eventuri intake as well. Pricy combo but I’m 100% satisfied with them, and knew their quality from having them for other vehicles.

Looks great! How tough was it? Lots of prep?
Not hard at all, with just your hands you can pop off the 2 pcs of plastic interior trim on each side behind the seat. One bolt holds each end of the bar. Unbolt it (don’t drop the screw)and remove the bar.

Then clean the bar with some rubbing alcohol and carefully align your precur 9x45” piece (another set of hands is helpful here) and stick the film on the bottom first about half way and push the bubbles out. Once they are out of that side roll the bar and do the next side carefully. I did use a heat gun to get the film a little more stretchy. Wrap it all the way around. Bolt it back in. Pop your trim back on..

👍
