Only have an MST V2 intake on the car as of right now. For my next mod should I get a Tomei single exit w/downpipe, JB4, or xHP trans tune? Just looking for opinions!

While I'm at it, what's with the choppy deadzone in the pedal? Car feels clunky sometimes, minorly jerky even from what I assume is throttle response. So far, loving the car.

Aesthetic or power? Exhaust will do minimal for power. Catless down pipe and tune will have more benefits.

Not as worried about aesthetics for the time being, exhaust with catless dp would just make the smile factor go up, I like me some good exhaust notes. But, truthfully some more power would be nice. Just hold off on the Tomei, maybe just get the JB4 and the catless dp together?

What year car? My throttle is smooth all the way through the PowerBand. Unless I get the odd dead zone when turning at very slow speeds. Almost like I give it throttle and nothing then it wants to take off. That only happens in normal mode not sport. But anymore I just drive in sport.

Throttle is smooth, there just feels like a bit of lag on the initial press of the pedal

Hold off on the Tomei and get a jb4/tune and catless down. You'll get way more sound than just an exhaust.

You're not imagining anything. It's been noted by others before.

In balanced mode there's a bit a lag when it seems like it's trying to tame the beast but it's really more ignoring your input. Solution is to not drive in balanced mode :) or play through it. I do sense a little of the jerk like the car can't figure out if I'm stopping or going -- only in parking lot or speed bump scenarios. No big thing IMHO.. this is more of a rip around town rather than drive your dear old mom to her treatments type of car.

Depending on what you are looking for, the Jb4 is the best value regarding power gains.
If you want a mod that improves power and sound, the downpipe is the better option
if you want only sound, get an exhaust

Out of the three, I would start with the Jb4.

You should determine your end goal. If you want big power then invest in the clone; if you want just a little bit more power then go jb4 @Jesse DaBears tuned

Good opinions here. I'm looking for about 500-600 at the wheel. 500 for sure, JB4 seems to have the potential to get me there

Considering this, JB4 and downpipe seem to be my next purchases.

That depends on if you want to drive around with a check engine light on. I’d suggest AA Catted DP & JB4 without a check engine light. I don’t know how some run around with a check engine light on all the time. That would drive me insane.
