Not what I did, but got tboned coming through an intersection last night. Other car ran a red light and didn’t brake at all. Car is likely totaled. Coil overs were absolutely decimated and found top hats and dampeners strewn around the road. Just glad that there were no injuries. Time to start looking at replacements.

@adawine glad you're okay! That's some scary stuff.

I started getting my car ready for track duty with a full brake job. Project Mu pads, Zimmerman rotors, Goodrich SS lines, Castrol SRF fluid, Apex lug nut conversion. I already have the Verus MC brace on the car.

The front pads glued to the front caliper pistons was not fun to deal with, but other than that it's been pretty straight forward. My car has 30k miles and 2X winters on it, but there has been hardly any corrosion anywhere. I do wish it has 2-pot rears like my STi had. These integrated e-parking brakes are not my favorite design.

Next weekend: Cusco F&R swaybars; SPL LCA, rear toe links with lockouts, and adjustable sway bar links.

I'm debating the SPL adjustable castor bushings I have because it seems like a PITA that may not be needed at factory ride height.

Do you think there’s any compatible 2 pot rears that would swap easily?

I don't know honestly. I think you would lose parking brake functionality unless there was some sort of integrated e-brake caliper.
Hmmm surely there’s some bmw with rear e brake built in, maybe 2 series

Not a Corvette.

All the new full fat M-Cars have the same sliding rear caliper so I wouldn't stress over it.

M2 also has the same sliding type rear caliper.

Same boat. I haven’t change mine out yet… I have the SPL adjustable castor bushings as well. Otherwise every other SPL part is on her now. The feel is night and day. Mega confidence boost. I can’t wait to push her harder next season. Especially with my new Ohlins. You’re gonna love it man! Enjoy ?

Also going to finally put on my heat exchanger from 1FastSupra and see if I can run with a JB4 tune on track. That would be incredibly fun. So that will be my goal for next season. We’ll see…

SP1- R exhaust got installed - love it! I think I'm the only one to request no burns and just do polished titanium, idk looks cleaner to me.

Super deep sound, loud in sport and tame in normal mode. There is some drone around 2k rpm but driving in 7th on highway or staying in sport mode seems to keep me out of that range so no biggie.

Anyone have recommendations for cat heating / cold start delete tune ideas? Don't want the neighbors to hate me lol

Which wing is that? Any sound clips of the exhaust?
