I ended up getting 2 codes this morning.

AA catted dp
Armaspeed intake
Jb4 map 2

Codes
1B9508 motorabstellzeit, plausibility time too short in correlation to engine coolant coo

180001 cattless downpipe detected

Should I just clear these codes and see if they come back?

The odd thing about it is, the car only has about 2300 miles on it. This was the first time I took off right away instead of letting it warm up a little. Should I be concerned?

I still an occasional CEL with the AA DP. It’s not consistent so I don’t know if it’s a sensor or the DP

Doesn't AA guarantee no CEL?
Yes. Thats the reason I got it. I might blame myself a little on the catless dp code for taking off before it warmed the cat up. But the other code makes no sense to me.

I've only had my dp on for about 150 miles. I drove maybe a mile and then it showed up.

Did you install the downpipe, or did you get it installed somewhere else? You made sure sensor connections were all good? Reason I ask is because 2 things are weird to me:
1. You're getting CEL with that specific dp
2. You got a CEL so quickly.

I got a catless and obviously I get CEL, but it typically takes a while (at least 12 miles) to activate.

I would try to ensure that your sensor is well connected on both the electrical connector and the downpipe itself.

If everything is actually all good, but you still get CEL, I would contact AA. They have a no CEL guarantee and I believe they will exchange the DP for a newer one if you get CEL

I did the install myself. Both sensors are plugged completely in and locked in place. Double checked o2 sensors were tight. Checked the clamp as well.

In that case, I would contact AA and mention the same thing you did here. I think they should send you a replacement. Just ask them and see what they say

The better question is what is that first code? And why did I get it?

So the catless kicked back on tonight after a pretty good pull.

it’s a bs guarantee. They know once it’s on you’re unlikely to take it off.

ive Had 2 aa catted dp, both threw a CEL within the first day.
They sent another one, we will see how this one goes. I would think most people if they were willing to do it once they would do it again. It takes longer to pull the quickjacks out and get it in the air than it does taking it off.
