Unfortunately, upon pulling the trim off I didn't find any obvious culprit. I ended up just adding 1/4 inch foam to some of the contact points, taping down a wire and wrapping some of the metal clips with electrical tape to tighten things up. I'll make a thread in the Guides section later today with some pics and post a link to it here, in case what I did will help anyone else.
Better late than never, but here is a thread with some pics showing what I ended up doing to fix this issue.

Installed eibach euro springs and spacers today! The box actually says for the Supra when it arrived. The lowered amount is just perfect! It’s not too low or high. It rides slightly stiffer than oem but still comfortable. The turns seems a little sharper as well! Overall very happy with this spring, just need to wait and get an alignment now. Also rubbing on my exhaust now over speed bumps but I’ll just adjust it when I do the Armytrix catless downpipe next ?

Looks perfect. I have the same ones in my garage and plan to install this weekend along with a downpipe. Or at least will get one of the two installed this weekend if I end up feeling lazy (or more realistically too many wife to-do's)

Drive it for a couple weeks before alignment. Let them settle

Yeah, Eibach caught on to all of us using the springs for the MKV application, and are now officially labeling that part number as Supra in addition to Z4. Funniest thing of all, is I found one website that was selling the same kit on two different pages, one for Z4 and one for MKV...and of course, the MKV set was priced about $75 higher for the same damn part number. Supra tax is real, and total bullshit!

I thought about it until I saw the price, lol.
Yeah, price is steep, but it's well made, and is totally worth it for something you literally look at thousands of times.

I parked that sucker. Yesterday I tracked it at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway, what an awesome track beast. The first time I tracked it there with stock suspension and factory tires, the tires chunked after 3 sessions and I had to go home early. I got SPL everything for it (the whole kit), had my tech install, align and tune it and put cheater tires on it. Now I'm edging closer to the under 2:00 club there. On the check ride my tech (a much better driver than I am) said the car was tossable. That car is incredible.

Been a while since I had updates, adding a stable mate for the Supra, found a GR Corolla that I'll be picking up end of week and driving from CA to WA.
Saw one at the track. It was funny because our local NASA chapter always asks who’s here with a new GR car for their free track day. We all clap and welcome them. This last time someone said they heard there was a GR Corolla on the roster. So the grand poo-ba asked the driver to stand up. He did and was famous all day long ? Everyone was following that guy around, asking questions, looking at his car. Despite the fact there are Ferraris & Porsches galore. Congrats bud!

Welcome to the you must be cheating club, lol. That’s how it feels. The car is fantastic with some better rubber. Add some SPL parts and lawd help us! Try keeping up with the MX5 in the corners. When you can do that, your times will be insane ?. I’ll go find the best MX5 driver and ask if I can follow him/her out the next session. If you haven’t done this already. So much fun dude!!

Tossable is the term I'm used to, and it's quite a compliment to any machine. My old (now the backup/guest) snowmobile fits that category, and it basically means the handling is so well sorted and confidence inspiring, that one can purposely throw it into a corner with reckless abandon, unsettling the chassis, and then proceed to reel it back in line, every single time the operator wants to.
