Is it Jimmy John’s fast?
It was… they moved next to a Tropical Smoothie (same parking lot) that my son thinks he must have after each and every workout ?️

This car is new.. as in 33km on the odometer new.
Just make sure your cap has a good seal. It should be a natural buildup of moisture, especially being so new, not driven much or for a longer period.

Just a sample of what‘s out there ☝. I got my 1st oil change extra early, since I track a lot, live in an extremely hot climate and wanted a wee bit thicker oil. Check it again after a much longer drive. Yours sat for quite some time. But glad you finally got her!

Everyone always ask "What has been done to the Supra?" but never, How is Supra doing..?
Great question! I‘ve got 7000 miles already & it’s been almost a year ? She seems to only have gotten better with age. Like any car, has some quirks. But they fade fast in my memory after each drive ?

Yeah.. I'm fairly confdent its moisture buildup. The seal seems ok too and the coolant level is slightly over max so it should be ok. My plan is to wipe it down and clean the muck off and then go for a Sunday drive and see how she responds.

Yep, was about to mention check the coolant level. Probably already on your to-do list but I’d change the oil as soon as you can just from being a used car. This would just add a reason to do the change.

Yeah. I might hit up the dealer and see what they say too. Appreciate all the advice and input. :)

I'm actually curious about this lol. Some have been on the road for 4 years. Any bmw issues pop up water pump etc?

/QUOTE]

Hi,

Mine is a '21 premium going on 3 years this August. I am experiencing this week something rather bizarre: Soon after hitting 40mph, a green skidding warning light comes on in the instrument cluster's upper left and the car begins to be hard to handle, skidding, steering gets very lose. I haven't made any changes in the settings. I have made an appt at the dealer since it's probably a software thing but I'm worried those people are incapables. The car has been very reliable so far.

Any advice?

Thanks.

Allegedly*, during B58 development Toyota had a hand in the decision to 'revert' back to the use of a belt-driven analog water pump for main engine cooling, and judging by how slow-moving the 16100-WAA04 part is in Toyotaland, it's not a common issue at all at this point. They were well aware of the sketch history of BMW's electric water pumps, and didn't want to take that risk.
Hopefully not. I think its just build up of condensation as she's literally come straight off the boat! Also, it looks clean past the cap. But yeah.. not sure. FML. Hopefully get some advice here and/or hit up the dealer. ?
Dude, it's totally just condensation buildup. Wipe it off, and put some kilometers on the damn car. Don't worry about it at all.
