I plan on picking one up from Jerry @ Midwest Toyota at some point. They can be purchased within the original 3y/36mo warranty period. It's not so much the drivetrain that's lead me to that decision, but really everything else(electronics, suspension, etc). Spending $2k on 10 years total of peace of mind isn't a big deal.

$1,000 for a wheel and tire package warranty?!? Dealer win. ?‍
To be able to have peace of mind 2k on a 57k car for wheel/tire and powertrain I think is worth it. Especially when I'm going to drive the thing as much as possible :drive:

~ you can buy a complete set of new oem 4 take-off wheels (rims, tires and tpms) for less than 1k. and then most finance this up charge and pay much much more. just sayin. ?

Sorry to revive an old thread, but where are people getting their warranties from lately?

Jennifer has since moved on, and I have not been able to get a hold of Jeremy Johnson for the last 2 weeks...

Heard back from Jerry, the price offered for my warranty was accurate to the price listed earlier in the thread, however, I only got 2 prices, so I cannot comment on the accuracy of the rest of them, but both 10yr/100k and 10yr/125k were the same.
Purchased the warranty thru him, super easy and pleasant.

I did this after I purchased mine used. It is still under factory bumper 2 bumper currently or was when I purchased it. I think it ended up being right around 2000 roughly for 10/100k warranty full coverage.

I read a few posts about things that could void warranty and typically the only thing you'll want to stay away from is a tune and aftermarket cat. Exhaust is not going to void warranty and neither is an air filter unless they can prove one of those two things caused failure. I've never heard or seen a warranty claim get denied over either of those things (service advisor for 8 years now).
