I found this company that does the controls relocation bracket. They will make one without the paddles bracket for the MT.

I plan on just using resistors to shut off the airbag light and tuck everything away. I literally n ver use my steer wheel controls. But I’ll definitely update with pics

Got a new exhaust installed today. It was a difficult choice between the HKS Hi-Power and Super Turbo cat-backs but I ultimately went with the Super Turbo. I really like the sound and unique design. The sound is a bit difficult to describe but it's almost like the car growls now since the pops and bangs are so supressed. Stock exhaust was already drawing attention from cops, so this works better for me. I also think the burnt tips look great with yellow but I can see why it may be off-putting to some. Really happy with this overall.

Installed JB+ on the default 3 o’clock position, we only have 92 octane in WA state so I might turn it down a bit, noticed a little stumble when the outside temps were in the high 80’s last week, runs like a champ in the mornings when temps in low 60’s.. only other mods are CTS catted DP and MST V2 intake…

IATs get high/heatsoak, and you'll pull timing.

Thanks! I got it from R44 Performance, and the fitment is spot on. No noticeable gaps.

I curbed/bottomed out a couple weeks ago making a merge a little too late on the highway. Luckily the wheel is fine, but my front right tire has a bulge in the sidewall. Only 2000 miles on it too...

I feel your pain. Curbed one of my wheels backing into a parking spot at BWW. Luckily it’s not too bad. Getting it taken care of this Wednesday.

My dude, it happens. I was parallel parking against a curb and didn’t see that a section of it was broken and sticking out by 6” because of a tree root. The sound of my rather expensive Apex EC-7R rim sliding against rough, jagged concrete was a lot louder than I would have expected.

I got a quote of $300-$400 to repair but haven’t gotten around to it yet. I kinda like the badge of shame anyway ? Shit happens.

~ Some specialty wheel repair companies can keep the repair just to the lip... and that's what I would suggest. Should be no more than $150. I wouldn't suggest refinishing the entire wheel.

Installed the battery cable to the engine bay battery charging points. The supplied clamps with the ctek were too big to connect and close the bonnet so I was able to use a torx socket and remove the positive and negative terminals so that the ring terminals could be secured. Now all I have to do is connect the Ctek when I won’t be driving for a while. When not needed it’s an easy quick disconnect and I can leave the terminal safely connected in the engine bay.

Just an idea, I attached the other ring terminal to the bolt circled below instead of the post. Reason being, I’m anal, and I didn’t want any of the seal being smashed in any sort of way when it was hooked up. When it’s connected the hood is latched only in the first spot (so not fully closed) and wires come down the front. In case you’d rather it.
