Not this fucking shit fuck stupid forum.

Not a Corvette.
Just an idea, I attached the other ring terminal to the bolt circled below instead of the post. Reason being, I’m anal, and I didn’t want any of the seal being smashed in any sort of way when it was hooked up. When it’s connected the hood is latched only in the first spot (so not fully closed) and wires come down the front. In case you’d rather it.

Yea, was going to say the same thing. I ground it in the engine bay. There is a handy ground right in the top left compartment under the mesh plastic.

Nine hundred kilometres today, most of which were amazing… aside from discovering that my favourite old twisty highway got half washed away last winter. So many gravel sections while it’s getting fixed. Probably added over an hour. I need to prepare more haha

Tonight I installed my Extreme Online Store A91 style carbon spoiler as well as my Ebay mirror cap replacements. Love the new look. My TuxMat floormats arrived today as well.

The majority of it was on the 8 between Merritt and Spence’s Bridge, but there were a ton of other spots on the surrounding highways still being worked on. Same with 5 from Princeton. My favourite roads but they’re usually either washed away, under snow, or closed because of raging wildfires.

All the road conditions are online, I just didn’t look ??‍♂

Damn I love learning new Supra ? … What does this bad boy do? I got a battery tender that I easily hook up to my wife’s GTI, my MX5 or kids cars. I haven’t tried it yet on the Supra and want to get the lithium Tex (something) battery someday that Bryan found for us on another thread.

Is this what we need to do to hook up a trickle charger? Again, I’m used to just lifting the hood and connecting the terminals to the battery. Thanks

Yep, under the hood is the recommended location for a battery charger (jumping the battery as well). I feel the ring terminals are an easier way of hooking up than alligator clips and they look cleaner too, but personal preference. Suggestion: until you install the lithium battery I would get a charger with an AGM setting. Then once you install the new one change it to a charger for lithium batteries. For a visual here’s my setup.

Pretty sure the CTek MXS 5.0 does AGM as well as non-AGM?

Today I be mainly making the super dim display brighter!

Bimmercode + iCar Pro = Nice bright display at last where I can actually read the time without having an accident which has to be a good thing! ?

I should have done this months ago! ?

PS I don’t suppose there is a way of displaying the time in a bigger font? (like replacing the date with the time)

I got this one:

https://www.amazon.com/Battery-Tender-Selectable-Lithium-Charge/dp/B07XMJDJX7/ref=sr_1_5?crid=1VSJKVYJUT0SO&keywords=Battery+tender+lithium+agm&qid=1690715735&sprefix=battery+tender+lithium+agm,aps,99&sr=8-5&ufe=app_do:amzn1.fos.18ed3cb5-28d5-4975-8bc7-93deae8f9840

It was at Costco however and around $50 bucks

Thank you sir! Well done explanation and pics ??

Looks like in the top pic I could just put the battery tender positive terminal on the red bolt and the black on the ground big lump to the left or the same size bolt on the right.

(I’m waiting for Bryan to reply - show him pics of how to put gas in his car as well ?)

The big hunk on the left is the positive hook up for jumping/charger that sits under the red cap in the second picture. I believe everything in that area is considered a positive hook up for the battery. That’s why there’s a separate post on the fender. Reason I went under the nut with the positive is so the black cover could be put back on without bending the ring terminal more than I liked.
