Still waiting... How long have you been waiting for your GR Supra allocation/order/update etc.?

How long did you have to wait/have been waiting to receive your GR Supra from the dealership??

I placed my deposit in April of last year (about 1.5 year wait) with an MSRP dealer in NorCal. Just took delivery yesterday; it was only the 2nd MT they received.

For anyone looking for a timeframe reference: I was told they had an allocation for me in July (car has a June date of production) and it got on a boat August 9th, got to port in Long Beach about a month later, went through processing about a week after that, and then delivered to the dealer this past Monday (Sept 18). They did all the inspection, cleaning, etc on Tuesday and it was ready for me the day after. My sales guy made sure they didn't drill the front bumper and no one drove it apart from to the gas station (half a block away) and across the street to their service area.
Wow, you waited a year and a half for yours? I would have looked at other platforms.

Broken record here. Two Supras later. I only called dealers that had them in stock or in route. I didn’t leave it in their hands. They were good about answering if they were willing to sell at MSRP. If not, I moved on. Used transport both times.

But again, I did the work. I only called dealers with cars in hand or in route.

I mean, technically it wasn't 1.5 years since the manual wasn't released in April '22. Just shy of a year maybe? I have another car, wasn't willing to pay over MSRP, and I didn't really want to put in the effort like I did for my RAV4 Prime. I only had a deposit at that dealer and no where else. The only other car I was considering was the GR Corolla and that would probably have been a longer wait.

I just started the wait. Put down a deposit on Mikan Blast 45th Anniversary just three days ago. MSRP from West Herr in Rochester, NY. I'm in KY.
Good luck ??

i’ve got a buddy who has a deposit on a blue six speed with tan interior. Let us know what your in hand turnaround time is. I’m curious how fast y’all are getting these cars after the deposit is put down.

Updated my vote. Put a deposit down on the allocation on May 4th, and picked up the car on September 30th.

It looks like the 2023 orders are coming to an end and the majority of inbound Supras are the 45th anniversary models. Did you place your deposit on a 2024 and is it the anniversary model? If it's a 2024 non-anniversary model, your wait may be longer.

I may do the same but have no expectations for a brief wait. At least it gives me time to sell my car.

The one in Raleigh. Who knows if I actually am, or if they’re just telling me that. I’m still waiting since October 2022 ? one day… maybe.
While I was still waiting for arrival, I went into the dealership and asked them how they would prevent someone else from buying the car out from under me. My salesperson pulled up the car and showed me it was reserved in my name because of my $500 deposit.

Almost at the 1 year mark in one week, and no MT in sight at the two dealerships I’m “#1” at. Also including searching across the country from Toyota inventory search. I know Toyota cut production numbers for Supra but sheesh, worried I may wait almost 2 years and not find one. Holding strong brothers
