Windows squeaking!

Both and it’s annoying AF! Everyone I open my doors they move a lil bit and weak! I’ve tried cleaning but nothing ! Anyone else have this issue??

Mine does it only when its wet. Is it everytime even when its dry?

Yes, it’s so annoying! I have tint but it seems like it’s only been doing this recently….I got nothing, any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Mine rarely squeak but only when the car is dirty.

Always wipe clean and dry the weatherstripping when washing the car.

What I noticed was that the little suede strip in the door card had actually gotten hard in a spot. I’m still working out how to fix it, but if you lower the window all the way and run your finger through it you should feel the suede being soft everywhere. Hard spots add the streak and squeak. Also I’m tinted as well.

Have you tried to pour 0w-20 down your window? I'd start with that. May need 5w-30, but you can check one of the "what oil should I use threads". There's like 14.

My windows squeak like crazy. Worse when going up.

I took it to the dealer for other service and they did a quick clean of the window and weatherstripping and it was a tiny bit better but still pretty bad. They said I needed to schedule another appointment for them to open up the door card and take a look at what is causing it. Not sure I want to spend the time to do that.

Any fixes would be welcomed!

Taking the door card off is incredibly easy, maybe you could do it yourself.
