Went to a huge night car meet, prob 500 cars. All lots in the business park were practically full. It was a great turnout. Here is an aerial pic(not mine).

It was pulling teeth to get a test drive in my Supra before I bought it. What finally did the job was when I told the sales manager that I would never buy a car that I didn't test drive first. They then asked to run my credit AND value my potential trade-in and whether or not I intended to put anything down on the car in the event that I actually decided to buy it. My car, funny enough, was a 2016 Genesis Coupe 3.8 M/T and was in VERY good condition. I also told them I intended to put down $15,000. After all of this shit, they finally let me test drive it.....

Some times I wish I could have kept my Genesis. I was VERY close to pulling the trigger on the Remnant kit for the 3.8L.

Oh shit, super clean build! I honestly expected to hop out of the Supra ready to sell the Gen but it's still hard for me to let go of. Attachment problems ? This is how it looked before I started peeling the vinyl. Also had it blood bath chrome with metallic wheels before.

Beautiful! I had a BK1 as well, it was Tsukuba red. After owning both, I preferred my BK1. I put so much into that car and it looked so clean when I was done with it.....

(Ignore the Pabst Blue Ribbon van in the background, that doesn't reflect on my drinking choices, I simply work for an Alcohol distribution center lol)

Removed the rest of the wrap that had been on for a couple years, and the StreetHunter wing. Trying to figure out if I want a carbon trunk or to fix / replace the one I have.

The hardware on the StreetHunter wing was in rough shape, even after replacing it once and using anti-seize.

Starting the winter deep cleanup of all the paint abuse from 22 track days this year.

Also my first time ever using a DA Polisher. So far, so good...

URO 50/50 (best for corrections) and Lake Country pads are your best friends. Thank me later.

It feels much more refined. I have the tomei mx7950 kit with supporting mods and it's pretty fun and quick, but raw and less punchy. So I can only imagine the supra with some bolt ons and a tune ??
How much do you want to pay? Would help others wanting to sell. And how many miles, if that matters to you.

I’d buy from @kaj in a ?. He’s OCD in a good way. Babied it and wouldn’t do too much to it. Other than track it and win. Just FYI if in the market.

Mine goes back and forth to work on weekends, to the track and at the track miles. Lotta car for the money. Hence I bought mine sight unseen. Twice actually.

I'm being waaay over optimistic and hoping the market will plateau in the spring. Praying I can snag a clean one for $45k. Miles aren't superrr crazy to me, as long as it's not over about 8k a year. There's a 2021 3.0 with 13k miles for sale by me for $47k.

In the meantime, I'm also reaching out to this local guy who transports cars all over the country since CA and FL Supras keep catching my eye like Kaj's ?

G87 M2 next?
Ew. No. ? I went Italian.

Damn that's nice!

@NitroYellowMKV Why didn't you offer me a soft-stitched airbag pad?! ;)

If I had one of those I wouldn't have been branded by the plastic Toyota sombrero when it slapped my forearm at 200 mph
At least you know your airbag wold work. Maybe the stitched one allows the airbag to deploy.....? ??
