(UK) GPF Back question

Hello all,

Wondering if i could get some help please

I have been searching alot of forums trying to find a definate answer and not getting much to what o jneed so ill make a quick post.

I have just ordered a cat back opf delete non res cobra exhaust - https://cobrasport.com/collections/.../toyota-gr-supra-cat-back-performance-exhaust

From what ive seen when you remove the gpf it can throw a CEL but some poeple have said without flash or harness it does not?

Dondering if this will stop the CEL or whether its easier to just get a GPF back exhaust?

I used this with my Garage whifbitz cat back system. No check engine light several hundred miles later

Hi, I don’t run the gpf delete Harness and I also have the garage whifbitz titanium system with no check engine light. That being said I believe if you are pushing the car really hard it may at that point throw a light which is easily removed. Happened once to me and didn’t cause any issues. I bought a code reader instead which cleared the CEL.

Perfcet so the harness would most likely help but its not the end of the world if odnt run the harness also?
