Yikes, I get it, only one side has a neighbor but I can’t trust people driving around not to cut the corner and smash a fender.
Yeah ikr it's a never ending debate on what's "least worse" lol I gotta say in terms of empirical evidence I've whitnessed several door dings but never got side swiped yet, but if it did happen it would be much more damage... ???
In addition, if I find a petrolhead car on the single neighbour side, like in the case of the M4, then in my head it almost counts as close to zero risk.

Not sure how it is in other countries, but in the US, this is just asking for it. People cut all corners too close, park too close, and generally ding things. I would even say that people who do this in the US are "asking for" a purposely imposed ding or scratch. I'm not condoning that, just saying what people would view as an entitled person parking in a non space.

I see what you mean, me and my wife were debating this but as far as we could tell the parking line is there but just very faded (if you zoom in a little in my photo you'll see I am in a space) so we thought it would be ok - I also always judge the corner of the space area i.e. whether I feel like it's tight and someone could get it wrong, fortunately this car park's road was wide enough :)

I totally agree and would not risk parking it in a non-space as I know people would key it out of envy and/or I will get a parking ticket (UK is bad for this stuff). Also to be clear this place in the photo is a bit of a "posh" area and it's a paid car park, so it wasn't like some grubby supermarket car park, the people are also slightly more careful (on average). It's insane to think how much thought goes into a parking spot as I'm writing this lol at the end of the day we just try to minimize risk but we can't avoid it all together.
The real life saver is checking for child seats when you park next to a car, that's a 100% no-go for me lol

Haha yes, totally understand. Believe me, it's relatable how much I think about parking and where to park. Constantly weighing pros and cons. I wish more people just valued others' possessions and we didn't have to think so much about the little things. :)

Got tuned by Botti while he's in Dallas this weekend. On BM3 with catless downpipe and flex fuel sensor.

Cleaned the engine bay, put stock wheels back on. Removed a year's worth of OPR. Removed bugs. Cleaned all other nooks and crannies. All ready for her new, prospective owner.
Had to make sure the car also LOOKS like it has 5k miles.

Installed the Display, finally no more hassle with engine oil and transmission oil temps ?

I have mixed feelings about the install process.
It could have been so easy when the installation instructions would be more detailed and right.
They had the wrong connector the wrong PIN numbers and some pictures showed the car with the whole floor removed while other pictures not ?

they said an experienced technician can do it in 1,5 hours.
It took me roughly 4h, guess I’m way to inexperienced ?

Did a test drive today and so far everything is working.

Temps on the pictures are in Celsius.
They are from left to right:
Coolant
Engine Oil
Intake Air
Transmission Oil

Thx, ye that’s why I bought it. It fits really nice.

I got it from an German website called turbozentrum.de
The Display Name is CanChecked MFD 32
Price is a bit heavy with 599€.
It was on sale with a 15% discount at the black week last year.
But it is connected to the OBD data, so it can read a bunch of values and can read and clear fault codes.
It has logging and 0-60 and 60-120 measurements.
The Display is touch with swipe gestures.

Really nice job. Any chance you wrote down what was wrong and could share what needs to be corrected?
