Alarm light when locked

The flashing light on my rear view mirror when car is locked seems to be blinking brighter and every couple of seconds, not sure if I’m going mad but I’m sure it didn’t blink that much before?! Apart from that all seems fine with the alarm system to my knowledge

Nope, I did try that to see if that was working and it went solid briefly then went back to blinking every couple of seconds which I’m sure is not right.

Blinking every few seconds is normal. Not sure what to say about the brightness.

If you press the lock button again within 10 seconds, the light will go solid red for a bit then back to blinking which is telling you the tilt sensor\interior motion sensor will be disabled.

That's actually really useful information. I assume it resets after you unlock/start the car again
