I kind of want to buy another rear tow hook cover to see if I can get a better cut to minimize the hole gap.

I agree unless you are on track. But people like looking the part. same as lots of legit aero track wings out there on cars who are hard parkers.

Required at most tracks. The last thing they want to do is to have to screw yours in, tow your (people in general) ass off track, while others are waiting to drive, lol.

Some are just lazy and leave it in. At least that’s my excuse.

I typically agree with you on this but I actually just bought these same tow hooks because of the GoPro mounts portion of these tow hooks. Can get some really sweet rolling chase shots with these. You can just buy the mounts but I figured if I’m going to leave them in there I’d add the tow hook look.

Also works great for DJI Pocket mounting. Autotracking for sick videos.
