I actually started out tracking an NSX. You probably know Wei-Shin and Mark H. I first met them over 20 years ago before Mark and Maria were part of Chin. NSX got too expensive so I ended up with a track prepped Cayman with a Vision Motorsports 3.8 motor. Great car and fast with superb hading but lost the motor because of failure of oil cooler (oil cooler is water-oil and internal seal had blown hydrolocking the engine - everyone including dealer said that a little condensation was "normal". NOT true). Sold the car and got a phenomenal deal on my GT3. Best car ever on the track! Stopped tracking it when the cars were selling for more than 200K - Just could not stomach the idea of totaling the car on the track and last quote for insurance was 5K for 2 day event. Ended up buying the Supra for best bang for the buck and my boys were pushing for the car.

Totally different vehicle dynamics since most of my experience had been mid engine or rear engine. I personally still prefer mid-engine or rear engine but that being said, the Supra is extremely well balanced and easy to drive once you get over the transition.

My boys will be tracking the Supra. Awaiting delivery on a Radical SR10. Fortunately, I have an entire family who enjoys motorsports as much as me.

That’s great man! I know Mark and Maria well and met Wei-Shin way back when he use to come to Sebring more often. I remembered that Chin NSX ? Loved those cars!! I had a Honda S2000 with Sick Sideways. Maria and I would get rides from John Dean, back when he would do that sort of thing. I wish my kids were more into it. Then again, my wallet is glad they’re not, hahaha.

As far as our pads, you‘ll likely find the rear pads don’t need to be overly aggressive and barely get used. Hawk DTC30s fit the rear pad bill well. Unfortunately Hawk doesn’t make DTC70 or 80 for our standard caliper. And the DTC60s can start to loose some of its stopping distance as the day goes on. Brake ducts do help in my case however. Factor in driving style, a more aggressive front pad is really needed for our cars imo. Especially in HPDE4 or Chin red groups. Rocksandblues Bob uses CSG pads and I don’t doubt that’s probably the best front pad for our car. I want to try them next season. Especially if project mu 999s don’t come in by October, next driving season.

If someone was just getting started, Hawk HPS+ would be a fantastic front pad or project mu club racers if you could find them.

Not sure about currently, but I think myself and others have usually been getting them through Evasive Motorsports. They seem to receive the most regular shipments and have the most reliable ETAs. I just used the Club Racer pads paired with new Zimmerman rotors and Endless fluid for the first time at my first HPDE event ever yesterday and was happy with the performance and the lack of noise for street driving. I plan to just leave them on as I already have a set of replacement pads on the shelf.

Obviously none of those are the Club Racer pads (PCR09Z625 & PCR09Z723) but thanks for the super helpful link.
you asked about where had pmu pads in stock.

I told you Japanese retailers because this is a Japanese company and nobody keeps these in stock in the US.

I even DM’d you that rhd, Blackhawk, and nengun are all good to order from.

Now wtf are you complaining about?

Order a different compound or a different pad if they don’t have the mediocre one you want.

That’s where I got my last set of P mu 999s from. Couldn’t believe how fast and how quickly they got it here. Bonus
