More thread-bumping my own dead threads today. 2 years of OneLaps in the car have taught me a few things about setup, my tolerance for 5K miles of street driving in a week, and my desire to improve the car.

Compromise is the name of the game. Every track day I've done with the car and my OneLap track time makes me go "This thing is too soft...it takes forever to take a set." Then I balance that against a 2 hr brutal pothole-filled section of I-70 going into Indiana that makes me glad I stayed with stock springs and dampers. I do want to make the car better on track, so it's a continuation of the compromise game.

My co-driver's feedback was that the car turns in well, is reasonably balanced for the setup, has pretty good overall mechanical grip, but struggles to put power down early on corner exit. Another observation that we both share was how light the car gets when cresting a high speed hill vs other cars we've both driven. My takeaway is that I'd like a little more rear grip to get on the power earlier and a little more high-speed stability.

Current setup:
- Stock springs/dampers
- Verus camber plates
- AFE Control anti-sway bars, front (29mm) and rear (22mm)
- AFE adjustable end links in the rear, stockers in the front. All are set to the middle hole in the bar.
- 18x10.5 wheels, 15mm spacers, 275/35/18 Bridgestone RE71RS tires (square)
- Alignment - I can't find the sheet, but it's about -2.7 deg in the front, around -1 in the rear, a little toe in
- Cold pressures are F: 29psi/R: 31psi, and I'll adjust depending on conditions
- CSG pads, front and rear. Fluid is SRF

What I'm thinking about:
- Rear sway bar, move to the softest setting
- Adjustable sway bar links in the front (incase I want to tune with the front bar)
- Dive planes/canards (probably Verus, but open to suggestions)
- Rear diffuser (ditto)
- Duckbill rear spoiler (I know it doesn't do anything...but it looks b!tchin)
- Fresh alignment

The only thing that's really not an option is a staggered tire/wheel setup. For OneLap, I want the ability to carry a single spare that I can use on any corner.

So, hive-mind, comments and suggestions are welcome.
How is driving the RE71RS on the road between tracks and home?

Considering them after my CR-S are done, but my Supra is 50/50 between street and track.

Brand new, full tread depth, they're a little loud, but not bad at all. Over the week, they got louder and louder, and the Thursday night drive from NCM in KY to Putnam Park in IN, they were downright treacherous in the heavy rain we had. I was in a caravan of a couple of other OneLap cars, on varying tires (Michelin PS4s, Continental ECS02), and I couldn't even maintain the speed limit for part of that transit. The tires had about 4K miles on them total by that point and were just about down to the wear bars. When we pulled a 1.13g in the dry skidpad at TireRack HQ, I immediately pulled the car into the TR customer center for another set of them for the drive home.

The OneLap use case is pretty extreme, but at low tread in the wet, they're way out of their element. The rest of the time, they were outstanding.

why only -1 camber in the rear?

Great review and feedback!

In addition to what you have, a few other things have helped me a lot (driving street and track): adjustable lower control arms, Ohlins (lot of bang for the buck imo) and Vorschlag camber plates. Gave us more alignment flexibility and the Ohlins, with both front and rear sway bars, feel incredible compared to stock. The linear springs they come with are great. But if you want those customized, they have that option as well.

I believe Josh @Meraki Autoworks has them on sale and he matches prices.

I need to price out options like the Ohlins for sure. The baller in me wants to go straight to MCS 2WNR, but I don't think that's in the budget.

I do NOT want to start a fight about SPL parts, but I don't think I'd use their LCAs per some of the feedback I've seen here over the last few years. I'd need to look around and see if there are other track-tested options.

Not a Corvette.
I _think_ that was all the shop could could get with the factory adjustments in the rear of the car
You can def get way more than that out of the rear factory camber eccentric bolt. I run -2.4 with more adjustment to go.

Yea, skip headaches and hard pass on the SPL garbage.

Entirely possible. What I don't have is the usual printout from the alignment machine with the final specs. That's why I will do a fresh alignment regardless of what I change (or don't change).

Just reached out to Verkline - their LCAs are currently out of stock, but they expect another run to be available in July. I bought a set.
