Yea, I deleted the cabin noise since the first few weeks of owning the car. I'd rather hear the real exhaust than piped in noise.

Agreed! I like this one more than the burnt tips. If I knew this one existed, I would have opted for this one! :oops:

Holy cow! That exhaust is a work of art. SO much better than the blues tips. IMHO the blue burnt titanium look is waaaaaaay played out. Wonder if they’ll add the Urban Matte tips to the Hi Power exhaust?
Agreed, talking to Mike now about that instead of blue tips! Seems like there is going to be quite a wait.

Sadly it seems that after I placed the order, I spoke with Mike at x-ph to swap to the new matte silver tips and he cancelled my order which charged me 5% of the HKS Super Turbo system and is non-refundable. Will most likely go with another seller at this point as simply losing that much money to cancel and then switch to a pre-order is unacceptable at this point. Was never offered an alternative like credit or re-applying funds to the pre-order of the matte setup.

Anyways, if someone else purchases in the meantime please keep this thread updated! Sound clips would be great and can't wait to see more photos of the Matte setup when it hits the US.

I'm sorry to hear that, but as explained, we do not keep the 5%. payment processors no longer return it. This is stated in the terms and conditions on our website and on the invoice you paid. I'm sorry if you missed it. Had I known you were unaware, I would have offered store credit as an option.

With that said, I wish you all the best with your build and good luck choosing the right exhaust.

I have the HKS Super Turbo and their downpipe. I'll try to make a video sometime and share it here. I know it was extremely difficult for me to find one when I was doing research. It's definitely louder than stock but nowhere as loud as any other aftermarket setup. From what I understand, even with their exhaust + downpipe, it should be below 95db to comply with Japanese regulations, so that's why it's pretty tame by comparison to others.

You are not losing money by switching orders; you are losing money because you asked to cancel the order and get a refund. If you had opted for store credit, you wouldn't have lost anything. I completely understand that you weren't aware of the 5% fee, and I feel bad that we were not able to rectify it in time so you dont lose money.

However, my support team assumes that customers are aware of this policy, especially since it is clearly stated in two places on our website: your PayPal invoice, and your confirmation email.

There was no bad intent involved. this is simply a misunderstanding. Unfortunately, you lost money, and we didn't profit either because the merchant fees were deducted. Neither of us is happy with this outcome.

If you decide to give us another chance, please DM me before your next order, and I'll ensure you get an even bigger discount to help make up for the money you lost. I appreciate your understanding.
