Loss of power - (ECM). Once we were able to briefly get power back to the car, I got the following codes: p0607, P1408, p1407, and p16db.

It was sourced out of Huston, TX and picked up in Charlotte, NC. I plan to find out.

It was plugged into the OBD port and hidden under the dash.

It looked like a factory part and fit seamlessly into the dash construction.

I actually just watched this other guy find a piggybacked gps tracker in his gr corolla. he noticed was that the obd port was always wiggly and loose. that, and ecutek tuners keep running into issues and this is always the cause.

It threw 53 communication and voltage codes that BimmerLink couldn’t see. “Toyota has masked codes.” They told me at one point they may have to ship the car to California, if were to be a warranty issue. I was not a happy camper.

There are laws against thin in NC and TX for invasion of privacy at the very least.
