My biggest concern is the steering. Top Gear wasn't the biggest fan of it, but some seem to favor it. I need to test drive one...

and everyone thought the Supra was expensive :p

This is why I don't see BMW offering this car as an M model as some people have stated. If they are already asking $63k before dealer packages, markup,etc, this car will fail miserably. The manual and S58 rumor, if it's true, will find its way to the Supra GRMN

For what it is, I think it's pretty high. I don't see the G29 coming close to the E85/86. But it should sell better than the E89. I can also see some Mercedes owners coming over.

Exactly and the reason why I asked was because of the SLC getting axed. It's priced with the Porsche Boxster but I think it's going to be a tough sell in an already depleting market. At leasts BMW went half in with a roadster while Toyota gets the coupe.
