my buddy ran one of these manifolds on his 540i (also gen 2 b58 for those who don't know) with an upgraded DAW turbo and his leaked constantly ended up removing it and has gone back to stock.
Leaky turbo + leaky manifold is the recipe for fast sauce. duh.

Missing out on sales Jesse, this shit is shinny and people buy shinny.
Normally, people like & purchase shiny objects. Never thought they liked shinny too. Guess I'm not with it anymore.

I'm a big AliExpress fan but I try to stick to non-mission critical items.

AliExpress is always a bit of a roll of the dice and rolling snake eyes on a manifold isn't an experience I would want to have!

I talked to them (Alibaba) and they supply most of the websites that brand their own intake manifold. You should be fine. I know a few locals running them and have had 0 problems. Just make sure you install it right. That goes for anything you do

Awesome, thanks bro. Hopefully it isnt too bad. Ill make sure i get good oem seals, and some good teflon tap around the plugs. Torque it down properlyr. I was also thinkin to pressure check it to 40-50psi and see how it holds up.

A little update. I have recieved the manifold ?? looks great from first impressions.
The machining and welds actually look better than most of the $5,000+ "Trust me bro" manifolds. lmao.

If this actually has a decent intercooler core, then win.

It looks exactly the same as those first gen csf coolers for the supra ?.

Yeah so far i am very happy with the quality of all the welds. Top notch!!

Deliverd cost came out to be 1.5k US ?

Iv ordered some oem gaskets...but iv been debating getting the phenolic spacer as its now going to be metal to metal....perhaps this spacer would help with stopping heat conduction.

Should i get one of those spacers?

So far so good.

I will report once installed.

Following, i bought the cheaper do88 manifold for $1.7k delivered.
Came with a thermal spacer and install hardware.

Kinda wish do88 had a no coating option, i like the raw aluminium look.
