Driving Impressions are embargoed until the 12th. I'll be posting pics here and on my IG, @albonfilms.
The Hakone is gorgeous for sure! I'll be getting pics of the various Supra colors available to me today at the event.
Any color will do, as long as it’s a Supra.I went from liking the red color, then white, then yellow, then blue, then white again, now black.........HELP!
Don't believe they'll get the red interior atm, but I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes an option later on. None of these launch cars had plaques so they're probably not production spec cars.@Guff any of the non-launch cars come with the red interior? And any of the launch cars have numbers on their interior plaques?
Driving impressions are embargoed, but let me tell you; they're gonna sell a lot of these.Keen to hear your thoughts given your experience with A80s
Oh this sounds great! PLEASE DO TELL US EVERYTHINGDriving impressions are embargoed, but let me tell you; they're gonna sell a lot of these.
Also, Tada San told me like fifteen times today, "When you turn the boost up..." so he's ready for the wave of modding and tuning. All he talked about was tuning tbh.
Also I had dinner with him just a few hours ago and he told me a bunch of cool stories about development and random specifics. I'll try to get it all posted sometime soon.
Here's one you'll like tho, he said:
"I know that there are some people who will just want to turn the boost up with ECU tuning and do nothing else with hardware modifications. Because of that I made sure to give a little bit of extra capacity in all the cooling systems to accommodate for more boost"
I assume you talked with the other journalists at the event, would they hold similar sentiments about the marketability?Driving impressions are embargoed, but let me tell you; they're gonna sell a lot of these.
Everyone agrees the price is right and that it takes the fight right to the Cayman S. Reliability was on everybody's mind though, but I think everyone agrees that it has the potential to be a hit. Not too spoil the fun but I think you'll find that most of the reviews will be positive.I assume you talked with the other journalists at the event, would they hold similar sentiments about the marketability?
