@ColonelAdama - miracle worker, it's never driven so smooth. obviously we were asking too much from it before.

if this stays like this, this is great, as long as it doesn't change when the ambient temp changes. fingers crossed.
Sounds good, keep us updated. We'll see about consistency.

I'm very conscious of going down another rabbit hole, but say I wanted to improve responsiveness slightly would I:

a)reduce FF?
or b)reduce PID ?
or c)increase DWP?

I don't really evidence to show DWP does anything, but Terry says it technically does a little. You can try at 50, I didn't notice anything. I would probably just turn up PID and FF a little.

I'm gonna see if Terry can get me an update that lets me adjust the delay before WGDC control kicks in. Before V24, it came on too late. May have went a little too far in the other direction.

Great, I'll try FF 32 and PID 22.

ok, in that case I won't bother with DWP.

Yeah thats fine, usually no issues adding boost over 5k since HPFP angle is lower.

You can thank BMW/Toyota for absolutely nerfing the shit out of the injection monitoring on MT cars and I don't see a workaround in sight soon besides a very progressive boost curve and FOL 60-80 only.

I do have quite a few MT cars running E40 that don't even have this issue, so it is definitely perplexing.
Would you mind elaborating on the MT injection monitoring topic?
I am planning upgrades for my MT and am trying to collect any and all differences or concerns between the auto and manual tuning & hardware.
I know the manual ECU can’t be cloned and that the reflex wiring is different, among some other things, but this is the first I’ve heard about this topic.
Thanks very much!

edit: is this just a JB4 related issue, or impact on Femto calibration unlocked MHD / BM3 cars as well?

Sure,
Give this a read: https://ecutek.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SUPPORT/pages/1668677661/Injection+Monitoring+B58g1+onwards

My understanding is that the injection monitoring tolerances are much tighter on MT than AT.

Its probably HPFP related, since there is no issue with JB4 on MT cars over 5k rpm (when the HPFP angle drops off)

edit to your edit: Its just JB4 related. Basically the car uses RPM, timing, boost to estimate the mass flow rate of fuel and if it looks like it is going to exceed HPFP max volume, it will pull boost. Probably because the JB4 spoofs boost and throws off the flow rate calculation. Otherwise its just a HPFP angle limit.
