How should the car feel at high speeds? 105+

[puzzled]

As a professional German that has access to the lovely Autobahn, I can safely assure you that driving VMAX or about 260kmh/ 160mph feels safe.
No floaty front end or anything.
My car is stock.

What is a professional German? I am professionally confused..

I was at the track last weekend and found the car to be super stable at 115-ish. The first time I got it up to 135 or so, I wouldn't describe it as "floaty" but neither did I feel like I wanted to do that again. I did it again and it felt OK, so perhaps it was because I was doing a small directional correction the first time instead of going dead straight. I did have the windows down which certainly did not help aerodynamics and my car is totally stock, no wing or other aids other than those little things I stuck on right by the mirrors to reduce turbulence.

Mine was very stable pre aero at track speeds. almost boring Get a good alignment.

I don’t have that kind of power. But at 145ish no wang, no problemo. She’s beautifully smooth ?

The Supra should feel perfectly fine and under control at 105+ assuming you didn't cheap out on horrible tires or have a very bad alignment.

Although keep in mind that it has a relatively short wheelbase, so theoretically it won't be as stable at very high speeds as something longer.

A lot I would say. I have the same feeling as OP when I first got the car. Mine is 23' so I assume there are much less bumpy steer. Car felt fine when on a perfect flat road, but once try to change lane or on a more bumpy highway it is floaty.

After I install a Verus UCW wing it feels much planted, I set it to pretty low degree tho.

My car has a downpipe and flex-fuel, so there is no added aero or suspension. Consistently taking the car 150+ in Mexico, it gets really shaky past 130ish. It is by no means unbearable or crazy unstable, just far less stable than the comparable German cars I have driven. 100-130 is perfect, unless the road is a bit rough. Ive had it at 170 and it isn't terrifying, but much more preferable to be in an AMG or M at those speeds. Ride is too stiff for the higher speeds on an imperfect road.

On a runway going 164 it felt super stable, one of the smoothest cars I've driven at higher speeds. Much better than my Miata ?

Def need some content and what mods your car has. Is it stock or lowered, what tires u using? I have mismatched tires but mine is stable at 160. If it’s floaty you have too much psi in the tires or running the wrong kind of oil.
