Just picked up a new 2025. I've read, for the most part, the car's recommended break-in period is +/- 1000 miles. Can I install the AA Active Cat downpipe now or best to wait until it's closer to 1000 miles? I've been driving miss daisy and only have a hair over 100 miles now. TIA for the guidance!

Sure, you can do it now - it wont hurt anything besides check engine light (if you dont have a tune).

My 21 car has downpipe, tune, flex fuel and only has like 2,500 miles on it.

I am aware of the draconian emissions requirements in California - so if its catless or even has a high flow cat, it will be louder than stock and smell - so you might be bothered by the ermissions gestapo.

I am moving from catless downpipe to an AMS GESI catted downpipe as the smell gives me headache and emissions testing in Illinois.

enjoy!

Should be good to put on whenever!

I also have the AA catted, there is a smell so be prepared to drive in "M" mode for the AC.

Yeah - should be good to put it on now. Keep on mind the AA Downpipe should have also come with break in instructions too. Make sure you follow those too.

I put mine on after break in since I took my car to Toyota for oil change and didn’t want them seeing the cel.
Also I have a “mini cat” so my cel doesn’t come on which is nice.

as for smell, to me it’s very very minor. I have a MAD 4.5 inch catless and with windows down, the smell is meh.
I’ve come from various other cars that I had catless on and these b58 engines must really be efficient with how they burn up the fuel. Just my thoughts

You can do it now, it won't effect anything.

We have those in stock.

400 miles after purchasing, I changed the down pipe (Titanium coated), added an MSI intake, swapped out the rims to fatter variants, upgraded the tires, staggered the offset, added bracing, added a JB4 running on E85 blend Map 4 with adjusted mapping and various other items, including spoilers and DRLs. It's now under 10 seconds in the 1/4 in still a DD. It's just amazing with no issues.

Have fun spending your money

Mine was on my car at double digit mileage. No worries whatsoever. Any of the AA catted dp's should NOT throw a CEL, if they do, its a warranty claim. They are very good with it.
