Trying to find a replacement bolt for the temp sensor while waiting for xph to get back to me, seems like it’s M4?

yep you were right on exact size. Really appreciate you and Tang jumping in when I was stress spamming the forum lol.

just in case someone searches in the future I’ll drop some more noise here for reading pleasure.

I went and ordered a new breather hose assy 12262-WAA03 - will hack that or the stock one up and try to make my own extended version. This radium catch can install doc has all of the info needed on sizing etc.

My first thought is to pull off the ends and run my own longer more flexible hose, but even with that doesn’t solve the issue of the actual connector hitting the charge pipe. Perhaps getting my own bung that is angled or 90* would be better. Not sure why I’m obsessed over it if this PCV connection will be changing or deleted after changing turbos anyway lol

as far as the MSTv3 it’s a very nice intake overall. the confusion with the metal coupler threw me off at first, but the breather connection is still a concern. I’m a bit perfectionist so if I end up sticking with this kit after extending my own breather hose, I may try trimming the silicone down, both at the breather port as well as the turbo inlet side, to allow the metal coupler to be used while hopefully leaving enough room for the breather clip to fit as long as the metal breather adapter doesn’t stick out into the intake pipe air path.
There is definitely room to spare and trim on the silicone for the breather port, but as for the turbo inlet side I don’t think that can be trimmed down since its diameter increases gradually from the edge, trimming too much means it won’t tightly seal on the turbo inlet or the metal coupler if that was to be used.

Currently even though I haven’t driven the car with it on I can see it’s pressed up against the charge pipe. I’m sure it’s stressing the already fragile clip / hose.
Anyways, still waiting to hear back if MST intended to use the coupler or it’s a mistake, if they can properly adjust the rest of the kit for that it’s a really great piece overall.

Probably get it resolved before getting upgraded chargepipes or it’s gonna be all scratched up lol

Update on my install with this kit.

My previous setup was the old MST V2. Fitment was spot on. Ran it with the lid off and off, while monitoring IAT's. I ordered the ProRam air filter while using this MST housing and the DAW silicone tubing. The ProRam intake got extremely hot, with the metal end. Couldn't hardly touch it. I switched back to the original MST V2 filter and put the lid back on. I missed the sound that this thing made with the lid off.

MST V3 fitment was too bad. I liked the open lid portion and the front, for better sound. I didn't use the included aluminum piece. I have the DAW 6769, therefore too small for the turbo. I reused the DAW silicone 4" inlet piece that I already had installed. Trouble I had was trying to keep the filter on the outside of the cover, with the clamp. Instructions stated that the clamp must be installed on the outside of the housing/box. If you look closely, you will see the notch where the actual metal clamp can slide through. The trick that I did was once I had the filter clamped to the pipe and slid it through the opening in the box, I twisted it slightly. Basically, locking the filter in place against the rubber seal. This seemed to tightly seal the filter on the outside of the housing against the rubber piece. I have seen others just tighten the air filter clamp on the inside of the housing and slide the piping into the included silicone piece. The filter seemed very loose to me and didn't like that much movement. Just me feedback. Sound is great.
