Turbulence Grey 2021 Premium 3.0 with 12k miles. One owner. Clean Carfax. No Mods. Appears to be mint. Dealer is asking $50,991. I'm in contact with the dealer (3.5 hrs away) and they are gathering more pics and video for me. Thoughts? I'd like an OTD price of $49000 - $50000.

~ I agree… it would be a great price at $49,000 if you can get them to discount the car that low. You’ll be lucky to get them to 50k at most dealers.

It would be hard to find the exact car OTD for your hopes… but I guess that all depends on your dealer, state and your sale tax rate. Ours are 8% so even at 49k it’s nearly 4k in add taxes on top of the purchase price. Some also overcharge for an enhanced dealer doc fee. Should be $250 max.

show us your "mad" negotiating skills ;) negotiating for OTD will be tough under $50k

It’s quite a bit of a distance for ya, but I’ve got a friend selling his white 2024 MT with only 181 miles on it for $59k. He’s got too many cars and willing to let it go. Amazing how well these cars hold their values!

I'll keep that in mind. Thank you.

Dealer isn't biting. Shocker lol. I believe their bottom is 50k + taxes title fees etc. I stated that my absolute best offer is $51,250 OTD and to call me if they want to move the car. I'm also looking at a 2019 M2 auto with 25k miles listed for $45,999.

Supra's hold their value extremely well and the supply vs demand is just at the point where dealers can happily afford to stand firm and not have to worry about the car sitting for long. That's just the unfortunate side of how popular this car is (but a great thing for people that already own one!)

I'd be surprised if anyone has a clean one with 10K or less miles that will do 50K OTD including tax and fees. I paid $49K before tax/fees for mine with more than 10K miles a year ago and it was the lowest priced one in my region that didn't have an accident history.

IMO the extra money for the Supra is much better than settling for an M2, unless you really like the BMW look or your budget is super tight with no wiggle room. This is a much better looking and more enjoyable car than the M2.

True which is a good thing for both owners and dealers, just not for buyers like me ;) I have no issue with the M2 and I must say that having a useable rear seat is nice. My issue with a used Supra is I feel like the prices are close to new without the new car warranty and peace of mind. BTW...the dealers response to my offer

" Thank you and I appreciate your offer, however that puts us below cost with tax/tag/fee "

I hear ya! At the time I bought mine (both of them), every damn dealer in Florida wanted $5-10k over (some more ?). So I pounded the online pavement and located both out of State at MSRP. That was the best I could do. Had them shipped for about a buck per mile to my local. Point being, even after totaling my 1st one (crazy mishap), I was so impressed I bought the same damn thing AND had to go thru all that hassle all over again. It was definitely worth it. Fcuking Supras!! ?
