I've not had anything beyond getting the official photo from the pit garage emailed.
As far as I was aware whenever you chose your colour and clicked confirm there, that's your order set and confirmed and if you wanted out then you needed to take action. If you do nothing the car will appear in September.
For colour changes I'm not sure how best to go about it but I was under the impression they won't be possible if you've already confirmed the order, especially as the cars are now all built. If there are a few people wanting to change though Toyota might be able to organise swapping colours if there are the right ones to change but probably can't guarantee anything.
Yeah that's right, but I think it was to cancel the order only. No confirming or approval necessary, but I think most people are in touch with the dealers anyways for going forward. Also I believe we had 7 or 14 days post the test drive to cancel/approve the order.
I'm going in on Saturday so will see what they're saying then. I think although we are better off than the US the dealers here are still a bit out of the loop as everything is being handled by Toyota GB centrally, the dealers aren't really part of the process at all until handover. It's good in a way for us as it helps avoid markups!Emailed my dealer today - can see the order is on the system but no other news yet.
I think overall it's actually been very poor communication all round. Especially for a car that is supposedly meant to be with us in 8 Weeks (according to the forum)
I would have expected them to bring you in to the showroom, sit you down and run through the whole process but i guess the first time you will hear anything is when the car is there
Since last weekMy dealer keeps saying next week mine will be in
