I'm not car/tech savvy. Can you guys give an idea what the average labor cost to install might be?

No. Easiest to install in my opinion. I've installed CTS, Armaspeed and HKS Intake with the CF air box. Armaspeed hands down was the easiest.

Just have a soft hand with the breather hose attachment, people tend to break the clips.

You should call around and ask your local shops for a quote. In Southern California, it's like $100-200 depending on the shop and their rep. Home garage mechanic, probably $100.

It’s terribly simple. YouTube it, and if you still aren’t comfortable buy a competent buddy a sixer and a pizza ?. No speciality tools required.

Get on that YouTube university and learn. It’s not hard just tedious if you can’t remove that breather hose.

The MST should be fairly close to the same install process. My MST intake was very easy to install. Took me about 2 hours only because I had trouble getting the inlet elbow to slip on just right (more to do with inexperience than the product)

The biggest issue I had, is that the torx screws for the O2 sensor temp sensor are extremely fragile and one of them snapped with almost no torque being applied which had to be removed with other tools.

Not a Corvette.

I think you mean the temp sensor, not 02 sensor.

You are correct, sorry I only remember anger over terrible screws and not the specifics!

MST is easier and fits better, but Arma isnt bad. Like most the hardest part is the damn breather hose. I am sure someone local would help out, id be happy to if youre up near NH

Yeah, just DIY it, ask a friend for help if you need it. Any parts you need will be far less than the labor to do it. Plus, helps to know how it goes together for when you end up replacing the filter/installing a turbo heat shield/etc.

Idk if it's easier now but when I got my MST way back in 2021, fitment was a pain in the ass getting the O ring and C clamp back in, as well as getting the lid to line up.

I can barely turn a screwdriver and decided to install this myself. If I could do it, you can! Just take your time and follow the directions.
