crap. Yeah. We have a lot of night terrors around here too so I have another vehicle to drive at dusk/night.

Was on my way to Road Atlanta for the weekend when an executive approached me from the new Rocket League Live Action Series...offered me a tryout.

Safe to say, I nailed it.

I'm not sure how I feel about it yet, but I swapped out my stock wiper blades for something different.

Yeah McDonalds doesn’t have the same appeal (or probably quality as well) over here 🍟

Fixed the broken lead on my emergency air pump's 12V connector:

Also, ordered another "Compressor Assembly, Air", part number 44890-WAA02, with a hopefully less janky cord.
Definitely worth buying a better air compressor. These battery ones now have really improved. Got my kid one for trips, charge the puter 💻, or other devices and I’ll be damned… it works so well, I got one myself.

Had an awesome first track day with the Supra at Sebring International Raceway.

I planned on driving, but I ended up surprising my wife and handing her the helmet instead.

She had an absolute blast behind the wheel! It was also great to connect with the local GR community as well here in FL. We met a few other Supra owners, along with folks in GR86s and GR Corollas.

GR Corolla didn’t make it to the last lap however, it overheated. 😵
Badass!!!!! So glad to hear you got your little woman out there. I got my wife into it as well. It’s great to be able to go together and have a “sponsor” 😉. Hopefully, we’ll see you out there Oct-March. And don’t feel too bad about other cars cooking 🍳. Most will overheat this time of year in the afternoon. Unless you’re driving a MX5 or something with less power (making less heat).

Woke up before work to triple clean the base model calipers. Scrub them. Clean them again and prep for paint!

Took the car to the track:

Had a major storm on Saturday and we drove under the rain: very educational. LOL.
I had my street tires, some of the faster guys with grippier tires were sliding more than me and going slower than me. I got the check ride for HPDE2

Sunday was sunny and nice. Car as always performed. First time driving solo.
Plan is to do a few track weekends, then sit with an instructor to correct mistakes.

even tho is not about how fast can go, my times continue to improve as I trust myself more behind the wheel.

Video here

I gave mine a thorough washing and installed the set of wheel spacers I got from another owner here.

Now I have a question. The bottom of the back window seems to be a place that collects water. The gap between the glass and the body is like 3/16th of an inch. Is everybody's that way? Anybody concerned about that? Or know of a way to fix it?

I don't mind wicking it dry, or opening the hatch and making it all flow out near the top, but this is my daily driver and it rains a lot here in SW Florida!

Normal. Just open the hatch. You dry under there anyway.

Here we go!!

Has a built in hardener for the paint, seems to get decent reviews on YouTube. Also very toxic, went with a cheap mask and some nice 3m filters

Sure you can find some weather stripping from Jeff (Amazon) if you desired.
