I heard Hamilton is getting checked for chlamydia. Looks like Ferrari has another failed season this year.

Week before the first F1 race, any predictions for all 11 teams after preseason testing?

I think the manufacturer rankings going to look like this.

Mercedes
Ferarri
RedBull
McLaren
next 3 I think are going to be a toss up but
Racing Bulls
HAAS
Alpine

I think
Williams
Audi

and finally I have

Cadillac
Aston Martin

i think Russell will be WDC this year. I think Charles will pip Hamilton, I think Max will come in between them if the RB/Ford PU stays together (also who would’ve thunk that Ford and RB would put together something that’s totally embarrassing Honda, poor Alonzo screaming GP2 for sure again) Lando over Piastri, the Kimi.

I really hate to venture a prediction since I don't know all that much, but would agree your top 4 are probably going to indeed be the top 4, in some order or another. I want to say McLaren might be higher but then the question is - which team are they better than, which one of them above is worse, and so it gets to be a tough question.

I also kind of think it could be Russel this year as well on top. I wouldn't mind seeing that. It'll be interesting to hear Antonelli vs Hamilton, talent wise, and where Mercedes or Hamilton would have ended up this coming season had Lewis actually stayed. Or, yeah, where Ferrari lands and if Leclerc will beat him for points within that team.

This is pretty much just wild ass guesses since I haven't seen anything of importance yet!

My list for basic qualifying at the first race:
Mercedes
McLaren
Ferarri
RedBull
HAAS
Racing Bulls
Alpine
I think
Williams
Audi
Aston Martin
Cadillac

WDC at the end of the year:
George
Lando
Charles
Max
Kimi
Lewis
Oscar

Charles is consistent when he has a good working tractor. It would be great to have him win a championship.

George is too much of a whiney princess to make it to the top at the end of the season. If Kimi could get more points than him this year it would make a better series.

For Lando, Oscar and Max it will depend which hand they’re dealt with for the 2026 cars. The talent is there but highly dependent on car reliability.

Lewis is too busy creating his own share of Kardashian home movies to compete with Ray Jay.

You make me want to support Russell all the more with foolish comments about him being whinny. That a description that far better fits Lewis.

Here's a snip of our group's bet with my picks visible, and the other name scratched for privacy. Our rules are that all predictions need to be in before testing starts. Maybe next year I'll remember and share it with this group if anyone want to join in.

I'd love to see Haas and GR be the best of the rest. It's been a long hard road. But I think Guenther Steiner didn't do a very good job for Haas while he was there. They sure seem to have gotten a lot better since he left.

Well, the reality of serious testing starts tonight (8pm EDST). I'm having a hard time waiting for Qualifying!
