congrats dude, I ordered my 4 cylinder model on Saturday, so excited for it! Dealer wanted a $1000 deposit, which was different from their normal $500 deposit. I told them they better not mark it up too high, they said if anything they would mark up the A91 edition ;)

Thatā€™s awesome!! Only issue there is there is no exact price. And just says MSRP. Dealership gets it in and decides to add some of their own options and have their own MSRP. lol

I would be a little worried unless I was just a millionaire and didnā€™t care about money. Knowing my luck if I tried to order one, the MSRP will be jacked up to $75k. lol
MSRP means MANUFACTURER suggested retail price. Dealer can't change that. If Toyota says MSRP is $58k, that's what it is. That's why dealers add to it under Adjusted Market Value or something to that extent. They cannot change MSRP. A lawyer would have a field day with that lol.

Just out of curiosity, what if the 4 cylinder price is almost as much as the 3.0 base?

Praying for your sake that itā€™s below $60k lol

I'm ok with $60k. My guess it's the price of a 2020 LE plus the price of the CF mirror caps and spoiler. If that's $60k, so be it. I'm getting more horsepower, improved suspension, the CF pieces, exclusive paint color, the Alcantara interior, and so on, for what I'm expecting to be around that price. If for some reason it is outlandish, I'll use my deposit to get a regular 3.0 premium. No problemo ;)

Thought about this, I'll cross that bridge when it comes. The way the dealer explained it, the price I paid is proof for them to show Toyota that they have a serious buyer, so Toyota will send them the Supra before other dealers (who don't have a ready to go sale). When the time comes, if the car isn't up to spec, or there is damage from shipping, you know how that goes, I'm fully ready to decline and get my money back. Maybe I'll even find a 2020 3.0 around that time for similar or even less!

I'll just take a look at the MSRP, and see what the dealer wants me to pay, if the two figures don't add up, I'll make a huge deal of it, get my money back and keep waiting for the right one. I've waited this long, what's a few more months haha

Yeah, my dealer already offered me a 2020 today at a significant discount. He has SEVEN sitting on his lot right now. 2 white, a black, a red, a silver, a yellow and a phantom matte gray. By the time the '21 are actually getting delivered, the leftovers will be going for a steal.

How much are they asking now?

Other than the phantom matte gray, I could take any color home for 53k. All premiums with carbon fiber covers, driving package, you name it. In 4 months I bet you can get them for even less.

Not a bad price, but also used... so then not a great price either. Listing says 3,272 miles... mine had 7. That's a lot of test drives if it's a new one. ;)
Yellow "new" one I drove today had 1012 miles. All their test drives are done with that one. The others are all at delivery miles they told me. I'm guessing around 7 also
