Is there any easy way to distinguish a 3.0 Premium from a 3.0 from an outside perspective from a distance, say at least 10 feet or while in traffic? I know that if one walks-up and looks inside the car some of the distinctive differences can be readily seen, e.g., the heads-up display recess on the drivers side dash.

LE, of course, has some reasonable hits with color schemes, carbon fiber mirrors (does not make it certain, but certainly moves it up a notch).

I suppose that the same question will apply to the 2.0 but I am not sure if there is yet any tractionable information.

Edit: 3.0 base has gray brakes, smaller rear disc, premium has red brakes, bigger rear disc.

2.0 has different wheels, smaller brakes that are gray. Smaller exhaust tips. Think that's it.

He’s saying the rear disks are smaller on the base 3.0
OP asked for an easy way to differentiate a 3.0 base from a premium. I doubt he's going to crawl under the car to measure the disc size lol.

You should be able to easily tell the smaller diameter by looking at them
You can eyeball the difference, from memory, between a ~340mm rotor and a ~330mm rotor, at 10 feet?

coloured calipers, as mentioned, is the way to go.

Or the HUD (or lack thereof)

2.0 has matte grey mirror stands with a gloss black mirror cap. 3.0 has gloss black mirror stands with a matte grey mirror cap.

And yeah the smaller rear disc on the 3.0 base is noticeable because the backing plate is the same size on both and is far more visible on the 3.0 base due to the smaller disc diameter. But not everyone will discern that.

Correct on the backing plate. Here's a picture of the right rear of my poverty base model to see the backing plate

The rear rotors can simply be changed to larger ones off the Premium model, no? This effectively makes the two models equivalent in terms of the brakes, correct?
