Hi all,
Spending so much time looking around for power enhancing bolt on parts. I came to notice that the Injen SES intercooler pipes (AKA charge pipes/ boost pipes) are made of complete 2.75” lightweight T6-6061 aluminum piping.
That to me, seems to be of a better design than other brands that are on the market (excluding the ones that come with a complete turbo kit).
For a stock, mildy modified or a modified stock frame turbo, i thing it might have a performance edge on the other brands.
I have already changed the charge pipes on the car with an aftermarket aluminum charge pipe (not going to name the brand).
Most of the other brands of charge pipes, neck down in pipe diameter using a silicone reducer coupler in between the 2 pieces of pipes.
The questions that are of interest;
Would the Injen intercooler pipe make a considerable improvement over the other brands ?
Will it be a pro or a con over other brands ?
Will there be better or worst throttle response ?
I am looking for every small power extraction. Call me crazy, but i would like to hear other members and forum sponsors views.
