That seems awfully cheap, the oil and filter were £190 alone if using the correct oil.. thats with discount too

Are you sure they used the right stuff?

Done by Toyota dealership and registered on maintenance record app as a minor service by dealership.

Invoice does say 0w20 Fully synthetic engine oil

Strange how the bottle looks different

I was told by multiple techs to make sure it’s the black bottle specifically made for the supra

That could just be the image they used but I know what you're saying.
I'm still a little unsure about what oil to use if I'm honest.
Mobile 1 would always be my first choice. Think these dealer oils are all about long life.
I'll change it annually anyway.

It is my understanding that all US Supras qualify for Toyota Care which covers all regular maintenance for the first 24months/24 thousand miles. Oil change interval is 5 months/5 thousand miles. Seems pretty reasonable/conservative to me.

I asked about service time whilst collecting mine new today, I was told 2 years for interim service and 4 years for full service, accounting for 10000 miles per year. I dont know yet if this good idea or not ??

I got mine serviced at a main dealer on Monday. 3100 miles, 1yr old. Probably not necessary but I wanted at least an oil change and thought I'd get the full service and see what it's like.

Cost me £375, changed oil, filters, brake fluid and did some checks. Prob not needed every year. Think I might get an oil change every year, service every 2 and full service every 4. I'd feel very uneasy leaving a car with a performance engine on the same oil for 2 years/20k miles.

My car is telling me I need to to my first service in a year. Dealer also said to me servicing was every year not every 2 years like a lot of other cars I've had. I've not actually seen a service schedule printed anywhere.

I understood it was 2 years. Car is asking for a service in 15k miles.
I have just done a oil and filter change myself as it's a year old and 5000 miles.
Dealer sent me a letter saying it was due a service recently. No thanks.
I'll get it serviced every 2 years by somewhere like Litchfield or Autotorque and do the oil in between.

Looks like I'll be sending yet another email to Toyota UK asking them to clarify something.

I think the Idrive service changes depending on your driving.

£375 for me was quoted as the minor service for just oil and filter lol. Very odd

I’ll likely to oil change every year anyway as I leave my cars 6-7months Over the winter so probably best to change stagnant oil

The 5000 is a mistake on the service info, its supposed to be 1 year or 10000 miles. The cars service interval is correctly listed on the info screen.
I just had my first years free service this month, everything went fine. I'm surprised how much they charge in the UK.
