i know the seats in the premiums have the heated options. but does the Red leather seats from the LE also have the heated option? and what about the base with the leather and suede middle? does that also have a heated option or is it only the black leather seats from the premium?

because i was kind of thinking of switching my black leather seats with either or but would still want to keep the heated option.

Premium Leather Seats and Launch Edition Red Leather seats are both heated. The base Alcantara seats are not heated and have no option in the US to be heated.

Maybe get the skins instead of switching the entire seat.

I find it funny, and sad that in Australia the alcantara was a $4,000 option, where overseas it's the "base".

I stupidly bought it because at the time there was zero literature as to what the "alcantara" option was. When I received the car (being first in the country), we saw it was legit just the base/back and I thought it was quite a joke.

i personally would go for the alcantara option because a lot of people are having issues with the leather seats (me included) of it rubbing off or it getting little holes already. but i would also want the heated option ‍♂

I agree I prefer alcantara, mostly for the fact full leather is terrible for getting sweaty on the track, but had I known how little my $4,000 was going to get me I would have just gotten the base seats and bought some aftermarket buckets for track use.

The fact the Australian base seats are the option seats and vice versa would be funny to me if it hadn't cost me so much to "upgrade" to your country's base seats.

I have the base Supra with Alcantara seats. I've used the Supra as a daily driver over the last 8 months. The seats do not have any appreciable wear to them.

Man, the US base seats are looking more and more like an upgrade to the ‘premium’ seats.
